KEN vs NEP 4th T20 Match Prediction & Betting Tips
Kenya will take on Nepal in the fourth game of five in this IT20 series . The game will be played at the Gymkhana Club Ground, Nairobi starting at 13:00 local time on Monday 29th August
Kenya won the toss on Sunday for the first time in the series but could not follow-up Friday’s win with another. They were beaten by four wickets and now find themselves needing to win this match to level the series and give themselves a shot at winning 3-2. Once again, 20 year old off-spinner Vraj Patel was the pick of the home side’s bowlers. He bowled his full four overs and has now taken 2-19, 2-16 and 2-22 across the three games. With the bat, Kenya’s 156-2 looked likely to be competitive but turned out to be 10 runs short. Irfan Karim and Rakep Patel both hit unbeaten half-centuries and made their highest scores of the series. Patel hit nine boundaries in his 43 ball innings but ultimately it was the opening batters who needed to score runs quicker.
Nepal regained their lead in the five match series on Sunday, getting over the line with three balls remaining. The most impressive feature of this victory was that it was done in spite of skipper and star bowler Sandeep Lamichhane taking no wickets and conceding the most runs (42) of any of Nepal’s attack. Fast medium bowler Sompal Kami recorded figures of 1-16 from three overs but it was the Nepalese batters who were key to the victory. The six batters who faced a delivery had strike-rates ranging from 112.19 to 228.57. Dipendra Singh Airee and Aarif Sheikh were the only two of the six to not hit a six in their innings.
